ANDERSON, SC (ANS – Jan. 4, 2016) -- Saint Nicholas: The Real Story was the first film launched under the banner of a new nonprofit film production company called Lachlan Creative Group (LCG).
The film was shown on television over the Christmas holiday in Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. It is also available on DVD at Family Christian stores, on Amazon Video and Vision Video, the film’s distributor. After the success of this film, Lachlan Creative is heading into 2016 with several new projects in development.

smallerJerusalemFallsAnnouncing CHRISTIANITY: The 2nd Generation (see trailer at https://youtu.be/1KZIFF_J740), this film now in development tackles a subject that is often overlooked by Christians, yet it is critical to the story of how Christianity became established at the end of the first century. We already know the end of the story - Christianity became the largest religion in the world. But after the Jewish rebellion in 66 AD, followed by the fall of Jerusalem, things didn't look so good for this obscure religious sect. Christ was gone, the Apostles were all dead and Jerusalem was no longer the life-giving center for the remaining followers of the faith. So how did the church survive after Christianity was outlawed? Who were the 2nd Generation Christians who fought for survival against all odds? What was the price they paid to stand against heresy and the wrath of Imperial Rome? For more information visit our website:

Another documentary film that Lachlan Creative is developing to produce this year is The Mystery of Sardis. This film follows the history of the city of Sardis in Asia Minor (modern Turkey) from being the terminus of The Royal Road to Susa in Persia, to becoming one of the seven churches of the Book of Revelation.

smallerAleksandrafromUkraineIn addition, LCG is also raising funds for an awareness campaign about sex trafficking in the USA. In 2014, 1 out of 6 runaways reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were likely victims of child sex trafficking. With 100,000 children estimated to be in the sex trade in the United States each year, it is clear that something has to be done. The campaign will be launched with a feature film in 2017 called, Too Close to Home. Screenings will be held to raise funds for partner nonprofits that are fighting child trafficking. smallerJCTakesKristenLachlan Creative Group creates content to educate, inform and inspire. Our primary goal is to instruct the public about social problems that threaten individuals, families and communities. We achieve our goal by the strategic use of films and other innovative media to generate debate, transform thought and promote action. We also believe that education is essential for change and therefore, the films we produce should fill a void with life-changing stories. I am asking that you make Aid to Special Saints in Strategic Times (ASSIST) your designated charity for the site. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know with the same products, same prices and same service. It’s that simple![/pb_tab_item][pb_tab_item heading="CGF" ]Another way to help ASSIST is to make purchases through the Charitable Giving Foundation. Just go to the CGF website and everything is explained: charitablegivingfoundation.org
I recommend you view the short video. After you make a purchase, click on the “Causes” tab and fill in the “Select a Cause – After Purchase” form. This form allows you to select your designated charity. Aid to Special Saints in Strategic Times (ASSIST) is located under the “Religious” section.
