A Special Message from ANS Founder, Dan Wooding
LAKE FOREST, CA (ANS – January 1, 2017) – Our Chief Reporter at ASSIST News Service (www.assistnews.net), Michael Ireland (ansreporter@gmail.com), has served next to me at ASSIST Ministries and ASSIST News Service since we started in 1989, and would like to once again attend Proclaim18, the 75th annual Convention of National Religious Broadcasters in Nashville, TN, Feb.27-March 2, 2018.
Michael has been a faithful and stalwart writer and reporter – as well as “Re-Write Man’’ – for ASSIST from the beginning, dating back to the days when he was ‘Mr. ASSIST’ for the Upper Midwest, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, when he would not only arrange my speaking schedule at Churches, Schools, Colleges and Radio and TV stations, but also take on speaking assignments himself for the ministry.
As with all of our ANS writers, including myself, Michael has not taken a salary or wage for more than 25 years in exchange for using his considerable writing and reporting sills on behalf of the Persecuted Church Around the World, preferring to volunteer his abilities in service of those who have no voice to speak for themselves as they live for Christ under intense pressure, danger, and even death — just for naming the Name of Christ!
Now it is time to once again honor Michael’s commitment to “Truth Through Christian Communication” – the Mission Statement of his ministry Michael Ireland Media Missionary at Artists in Christian Testimony (A.C.T) International based in Brentwood, TN, not far from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center which is host to the NRB Convention Proclaim18.
In order to attend the Convention, Michael needs to raise $1,500 for Airfare, Hotel, and Incidental Expenses (food, airport shuttle, tips, taxes, and fees) in order to travel from his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota..
