DALLAS, Texas (ANS) — Hundreds of thousands of women will gather across America via free live stream on February 15, 2020 for She Loves Out Loud (SLOL). a historic day of empowerment through prayer to find healing, genuine peace, and sisterVocalist, author, inspirational speaker, and talk-show host, Sheila Walsh, says, “For the last two years there has been one thing burning in my heart and spirit, the power of prayer. I woke up one morning with the phrase ‘Praying Women,’ ringing like a song inside me. I was invited to a meeting in Washington some months later, and it was clear as I prayed with the women that day that this is a song God is singing over many of His daughters. This is a fresh call in an urgent time.”Note: Please help Assist News Service to be a voice for Christians around the world. Donate to ANS today
Author and co-founder Diane Strack was at that meeting because she was impacted by the words of her late mentor Vonette Bright to “Gather the women to pray. They are the only hope for our nation.” Strack says, “I remembered her words as I watched the angry women parades and cried over the stories of abuse. My heart broke at the wall of pain and anger that held back their hope. No one spoke of a way to find peace, and I thought, ‘Love is not silent. Neither can we be. We must share the power of genuine love by gathering women across America to pray for the healing of hearts.”
A passionate, united team was formed that day in DC, and together they chose to broadcast seven themes of awe-inspiring, personal stories of women who found victory over their circumstances and challenges. Those themes include:
- Race Relations
- Healing of Abuse and Trauma
- Marriage Betrayal-Pornography
- Families and Children
- Victory Over Depression
- Pro-Life, Adoption and Fostering
- Prayer for America and our Military Wives
Along with powerful interviews addressing the themes, the event will feature times of praying through Scripture in small groups and worshiping in song throughout the day.
She Loves Out Loud is a non-denominational, non-political Livestream event. Any church, organization, or small group can join the movement by hosting this day, without fee, through the internet broadcasts on Facebook Live, the website www.shelovesoutloud.org or Lifeway Digital Pass.
The SLOL team is unanimous in this: “We want women to come away from the day saying, “My sisters saw me; they heard me; they loved me, and they gave me hope in Jesus’ name.”
