Live from the Grand Ole Opry House, the seventh annual K-LOVE Fan Awards were held on Sunday night June 2. Top honors of the evening included Lauren Daigle for “Female Artist of the Year,” and “Artist of the Year,” Danny Gokey for “Male Artist of the Year,” and to for King & Country for “Group of the Year,” and “Song of the Year” with “God Only Knows.”
Other awards were handed out to Hillsong Worship for “Worship Song of the Year” with “Who You Say I Am,” and the “Breakout Single” honor went to “We Are Messengers for the song “Maybe It’s Ok.” Joe Gibbs was recognized with the “Sports Impact” award, “Unplanned” was recognized as the “Film/Television Impact” and Kathie Lee Gifford was honored with the “Book Impact” award.

The K-LOVE Fan Awards were created to honor today’s Christian music leaders. The experience also allows fans to attend the awards show as well as access to Meet & Greet Fans Receptions. Other activities scheduled throughout the weekend included a kick-off concert on Friday night, a songwriter’s showcase hosted by five-time Grammy Award winner Steven Curtis Chapman and the Run For Love 5K, benefitting Hands & Feet Project on Saturday evening, and a worship service Sunday morning.
